A1 Certifier. A small family run Building certification Company based in Brisbane’s beautiful Bayside region. We pride ourselves on assisting our clientele cut through the red tape of the complexities of the building certification process. Our scope of works ranges from small residential construction to commercial projects, throughout Queensland and Northern Territory.

Knowledge, Skills & Expertise:

• Recognised Qualification by QBCC, RICS OR AIBS for Building Certification

(Diploma or bachelor's degree in building surveying or equivalent)

• A demonstrated understanding of the Building Industry and its effect on the Community
• General understanding of the Building Act, Building Code of Australia, and other relevant legislation

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE

1. Accredited as a Level 1, 2, or 3 Building Surveyor with RICS or AIBS or eligible to gain.
2. Previous residential / domestic and (commercial - not desired but not essential) experience in building certification.
3. Knowledge of and experience interpreting and applying Legislation, Regulations, Codes and Standards.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written English) to engage with a broad client base and employees.
5. Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
6. Endorsed by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) with Class A Development Endorsement or desire to obtain.
7. Bachelor’s degree or Graduate Diploma of Building Surveying or any similar recognised course completion.

Remuneration
Your remuneration package will be offered subject to level of experience/accreditation/qualifications and will be discussed at the interview.
