About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Groundsman to join our team at Kondalilla Eco Resort in Flaxton, QLD. As a casual member of our team with the option of progressing to a full-time position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the grounds and gardens that are the heart of our eco-resort.

What you'll be doing

• Performing general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, pressure cleaning and weeding
• Caring for and nurturing the diverse range of plant life throughout the resort grounds
• Assisting with the set-up and pack-down of the restaurant and event room areas
• Ensuring the grounds are always presented to a high standard for our guests
• Cleaning and maintaining of resort swimming pools between services
• Cleaning of external buildings, window cleaning, maintaining BBQ's and refilling of woodboxes
• Collaborating with the wider resort team to deliver great customer service
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Prior experience in a similar groundskeeping or landscaping role
• Strong practical skills and knowledge of horticulture and grounds maintenance
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently to deadlines
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• A current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
