We manage the maintenance of a private residence on the Brisbane River on a sprawling 20+ acreas. The property has a golf course consisting of 9 x t-offs and 3 x greens.

We are currently seeking an energetic and committed individual to manage the property maintenance on a permanent full-time basis (other options can be discussed but ideally full-time).

The role involves various duties relating to the maintenance and upkeep of the property and greens.

The position requires the candidate to operate and maintain a wide range of equipment, application of chemicals and fertilisers, general housekeeping of workshop/shed areas, rubbish collection and removal and have a strong attention to detail.

The successful applicant must be reliable and punctual, have a strong work ethic, be able to work solo, have good time management and be able to plan a maintenance program for the property and must also be physically fit.

A certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management or experience as a groundsman in a similar golf course role would be well regarded but not essential. Machinery knowledge is ideal.

Daily/weekly duties will include:

• Specialised Maintenance work
• Mowing & maintenance/Horticultural works
• Zero turn ride on operations
• Variations based landscape work
• Machinery use and Hand tools.
• High end Gardening maintenance and upkeep work
• Sports Turf Management and Greens work
• Commercial Based Landscape Maintenance works
• Chemical application Backpack and Spray Rig

Applicant must have:

• National Police Check or be willing to obtain one
• Working with Children Check, or willing to obtain.
• Current Drivers’ licence and own transport (or ability to get to site)
