About the role

Pacific Stone is seeking an experienced Foreman to join our Tiling Division. As Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all tiling operations on our construction sites in the Canberra ACT.

This is a full-time position that will involve on-site supervision.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and directing a teams of tilers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Scheduling and coordinating tiling work across multiple sites.
• Providing technical guidance and support to the tiling team.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress, productivity.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Assisting with the recruitment, training and development of the tiling team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in the tiling industry
• Excellent knowledge of tiling materials, techniques and industry standards
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant technologies
• Construction industry certifications (e.g. White Card, Forklift Licence)
