About the role

• Operational Skills: General warehouse duties including picking and packing orders for B2B & B2C, maintaining a well-run warehouse and contributing to the overall look of the branch.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory, including counting stock in and out, storage, and distribution of supplies to ensure we are always ready for delivery or customer picks ups.
• Strategic Planning: Work as a team to continuously develop and improve logistics strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services for all orders.
• Problem-Solving: Address any logistical challenges promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• This is a full time role, 38 hours per week. There is a requirement for all staff to work on Saturday for a minimum of 3 hours.

What are we looking for?

• Valid Australian driver's license
• Current forklift license (LF)
• 2 years warehouse/inventory receiving, picking, packing and dispatching.
• Physically fit to lift, pick / pack and carry tiles that weigh up to 20kgs
• Software data entry knowledge and skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of safe working practices and WHS awareness around hazard management and manual handling
• The ability to work individually without constant direction
