We are seeking an experienced Head Chef with a demonstrated passion for the food industry.

You will work with a strong dedicated kitchen and management team that are passionate about great service, food and beautiful produce.

This seasonal menu is an incredibly produce-driven style of food - think paddock to plate, keeping it local and keeping in line with what's growing.

First and foremost a strong team player, being creative, striving to improve and self-motivated.
You must have flexibility for a 7-day roster, including split shifts.
You are calm during peak periods.
You have the ability to mentor and guide junior chefs.
You have a knowledge of Asian & European cuisines coupled with the ability to design innovative menus.
You have experience with budgets, rostering, forecasting, stock and cost control.
You will have a genuine desire to contribute towards the success of 1918 Bistro & Grill.
