This role is working for an international energy consultancy that play large part in net-zero strategy and energy efficiency solutions in Australia. This company deal with Commercial and Industrial clients, as well as installers and retailers for an array of solutions from energy auditing, carbon credit, M&V, certificate creation and energy engineering services.
The brand are trusted by some of our most well known large multinationals and tier-1 contractors through to small to medium operations who require advance and technical assistance on energy engineering or energy certificate creation from this licenced organisation in things such as VEECs, ACUs or LGCs and more to support solar, hvac, boilers and more in the VEU and ESS for M&V activity.

The position
The responsibilities in this role are working alongside the Sales Manager and assist in delivering outcomes and needs for their key customers who use their services on an ongoing basis. Some of the day to day would be:
- Communicating with key customers providing information
- Preparing proposals and responding to enquiries
- Calculating customer pricing and estimation for quotes
- Providing strong customer support to strengthen relationships
- Coordinate energy procurement renewals and agreements
- Coordinate contract execution and negotiate deals
- Working in a hybrid WFH set up - full autonomy
- Administrative support and adhoc tasks to complete
- Assist some online marketing posts and research; LinkedIn and socials
- Customers include solar installers, industrial consultants, commercial hvac specialists & accredited partners

The experience needed
To be considered for this role you need experience in customer relationship management, sales and understanding some technical needs. It is ideal if you have experience within the energy sector and have an understanding of electricity, gas or energy calculations. If you have experience from the certificate aggregation space then that is a big advantage.
- Experience in relationship management or sales related
- Ability to provide quality support to customers
- Advantage to come from the energy industry
- Bigger advantage to come from certificate aggregation; veecs, escs, veu, ess etc.
- Other areas of exposure could be commercial solar, electricity and gas, hvac
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to interpret technical data and calculate quotes
- Strong computer skills to use the CRM and Microsoft Office, word, excel etc.
- A positive proactive professional attitude with eagerness to develop
- Ability to work cohesively as an associate to management
