About the Role:

As an Operations Scheduler at Combined Logistics, you will be a key player in ensuring the seamless coordination of our transport operations. In partnership with the Operations Manager, your role will involve:

• Allocating jobs and assigning drivers efficiently to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Engaging and managing subcontractors as needed.
• Monitoring driver fatigue management and vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Processing job-related paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assisting with permits, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaising with customers and drivers to maintain excellent service levels.
• Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts and operational challenges.
• Communicating with workshop teams to ensure fleet readiness and maintenance.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Experience in a transport, logistics, or heavy haulage environment (highly desirable).
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of fatigue management, chain of responsibility (CoR), and transport compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with drivers, customers, and subcontractors.
• The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in transport scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• The confidence and flexibility to work both independently and in a team environment.
• A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
