This Opportunity

We are seeking a driven & enthusiastic MC Licensed operations specialist to join our team, working with the Operations Manager to deliver safe and efficient transport outcomes across our operations. the role is a hands-on one, involving the operation of various combinations of B-Double and road trains, and the haulage of various cargo.

Qualifications & experience

• MC Class Driver’s Licence & White Card mandatory.
• HRWL such as Forklift, Dogman, Working at heights will be considered advantageous.
• Experience in Front end loader operations considered advantageous.
• Current Medical
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol test

Tasks & responsibilities

• Operation of MC Class heavy vehicle combinations, including loading, restraint and unloading.
• Basic Maintenance operations including but not limited to: daily prestart checks, changing tyres, adjusting brakes.
• Contributing to scheduling and load planning to deliver efficient, safe transport outcomes for Cast-Tech Group, our clients and our suppliers.
• Demonstration of good housekeeping, including safe & efficient use, regular cleaning and storage of tools and equipment.
• Adherence to WHS requirements in the workplace, as well as contributing to the constant improvement of WHS policies and procedures in the workplace.
