Role Overview:
We are looking for a visionary Health and Safety Practice Lead who thrives on driving strategic outcomes and optimising team workflows. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong leadership background in consulting and a passion for making meaningful impacts in health and safety management. The role would likely suit a Principal Consultant looking to take that next step up or an existing Practice lead looking for a change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and expand the Health and Safety practice, boosting client support and team performance.
• Provide expert guidance on risk management, health and safety audits, and strategic planning.
• Manage and mentor a small team, cultivating a culture of flexibility, integrity, respect and open communication.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver regular health and safety training and awareness programs for employees and clients.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and best practices.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven business development skills, to bring in the clients and the work for the team to deliver on.
• Ability to work independently and take the initiative.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise effectively with clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in consulting on health and safety management to clients in various sectors.
• Qualifications: Tertiary education in risk management and OHS/WHS management (accredited auditor qualification is a plus).
• Skills:
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally (local, regional, interstate).
