About the Role
In this hands on role, you will be responsible for:

• Washing, polishing, and detailing boats for clients on maintenance plans
• Cut and polishing boats (experience preferred)
• Sanding hulls
• Applying antifoul and paint related products
• Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and finish for every vessel
• Ad hoc Duties

Waterz Edge is a locally owned and operated vessel maintenance and management company based in the picturesque Queenscliff, on the Bellarine Peninsula. We specialise in marine detailing, boat maintenance, and repairs, with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional quality and customer service. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a Detailer to join our dedicated team.

About You
We are looking for someone who takes immense pride in their work and strives for perfection in every task. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in marine detailing, boat repairs, or automotive detailing is preferred (qualification in Spray Painting is a plus)
• Proven experience in machine polishing/buffing (preferred)
• A valid Driver’s License and Police Check
• Strong attention to detail, with a passion for quality work
• Ability to work independently, showing initiative, and adapting to changing priorities
• A customer focused attitude and ability to work well within a team
• Physical fitness, energy, and comfort working outdoors
• Basic proficiency with technology and tools relevant to the role
