In this role, you will work closely with children, adults, and their families to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders. You’ll be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, engage in community outreach, and contribute to the continued growth and innovation of our services.
What We Offer:
- Pay rate from $60 - $62 per hour.
- Face-to-face therapy sessions conducted in homes and clinic settings, working with NDIS participants.

Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults to evaluate communication abilities and challenges.
- Provide personalized, evidence-based therapy sessions that are engaging and effective.
- Develop and implement structured therapy plans and reports that outline the impact of communication difficulties on daily life.
- Foster strong, supportive relationships with families, providing practical strategies to enhance communication development.
- Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and other professionals in the North and Western Melbourne region to facilitate client progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
- Participate in regular team meetings, professional development programs, and community outreach efforts.
About You:
We welcome applications from both experienced Speech Therapists and students graduating in mid or late 2025, as well as recent graduates who are eager to support individuals in overcoming communication challenges.
The Successful Applicant Will Possess the Following:
Full relevant registration.
Excellent knowledge of evidence-based practice within the area of the relevant field.
Awareness of the principles of person-centred practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High levels of computer literacy.
Working with Children Check.
Sound knowledge of the NDIS (training provided).
NDIS Workers Orientation Module (Quality, Safety, & You).
NDIS Worker Screening check (will cover a police clearance).
Full driving license.
