About the role

Join the Create Build Enjoy team as a full-time Patio Builder/Carpenter. Based in Canberra ACT, this position is ideal for an experienced building professional who takes pride in their work and wants to contribute to the success of a growing company. As a Patio Builder, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality outdoor living spaces and extensions for our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Interpret and follow architectural plans to construct patios, pergolas, and extension
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their skills

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Carpenter or similar construction role
• Strong working knowledge of patio and outdoor structure design, construction, and installation
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
• Excellent carpentry and Building skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Positive attitude and strong customer service focus
• OHS General Induction Card (White Card), ACT Approved Asbestos Awareness Certificate, and Silica Awareness Certificate
• Ability to obtain a security pass and/or clearance if required.
