Our client, a renowned insurance organisation, is looking for Internal Dispute Resolutions Officers to join their team in an exciting period of growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on finding solutions while delivering exceptional customer service.

About You

  • Previous experience managing complex complaints is favourable.
  • Proven experience with compliance, interpreting and applying legislation within a regulated industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and complex situations effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner, to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to document and track complaints accurately.
  • Experience working with internal teams to implement improvements based on complaint trends and feedback.
  • Must complete a Fit 2 Work, including criminal history and credit checks.

The Role

  • Manage and resolve a portfolio of customer complaints with a high level of professionalism and empathy.
  • Investigate and analyse complex complaints, gathering necessary information to reach fair and effective resolutions.
  • Communicate directly with customers, understanding their concerns and providing timely updates on the resolution process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and departments to address the root causes of complaints and implement process improvements and education to minimise complaints.
  • Ensure all complaints are accurately documented, tracked, and reported according to internal policies and compliance standards.
  • Consult with underwriters and the Australian Financial Complaints Authority as required.
