About the role

Metric Engineering is seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager & Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This part-time position will be based in Bankstown, NSW and will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies to promote our brand and drive customer engagement.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and grow Metric Engineering's social media presence across key platforms such as TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram
• Developing and executing digital marketing strategies across multiple platforms, including social, email and paid advertising.
• Optimising SEO and SEM efforts to drive online visibility and customer engagement using Google Ads
• Create and curate compelling, on-brand content to increase reach, engagement, and following
• Monitor and analyse social media performance, providing regular reports and insights to the marketing team
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align social media campaigns with broader business objectives
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and implement innovative strategies to stay ahead of the competition
• Respond to customer inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner

What we're looking for

• 2-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the marketing and communications industry
• Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media marketing.
• Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape and proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging, on-brand content
• Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms
• Keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
• Passion for the latest social media trends and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt
