Senior Business Advisor

• NSW State Government
• 6 Months Contract with a potential extension
• $65 - $80 per hour + super
• North Sydney + Hybrid WFH

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare monthly reports, analyze budget variances, and provide strategic insights.
• Develop budgets, manage forecasts, and oversee month-end reporting.
• Assess financial performance, cash flow, and savings targets to drive decision-making.
• Design and maintain costing models for service requests.
• Advise senior executives and collaborate with teams to manage competing priorities.
• Enhance financial processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies.

Essential requirements

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards an accounting/finance qualification.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel and SAP skills with stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to analyze financial performance and improve business processes.
• Advanced SAP and Excel skills
