Aboriginal Families as Teachers is an exciting new funding stream focused on promoting the importance of Early Childhood Education and supports the developmental outcomes for our Jarjums.

- You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Experience and qualification in Early Childhood Education, Min Cert III.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – especially work engaging children in interactive play
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- High level of computer literacy; sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Current NSW driver’s licence
- Ability to hold all relevant security clearances including the National Police Check and Working with Children clearances
If selection criteria is not addressed your application will not be accepted.
Appointment to this position will be subject to a National Criminal History Record Check and a NSW Working with Children – Employee clearance.
Two reference checks will be required including one recent supervisor.
Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010
Classification - Social and community services employee level 3 – pay point 1, Hourly rate $37.35 Plus superannuation at 11.5% of ordinary time earnings (OTE).
