About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced MR Driver to join our well-established team. The role will require the successful candidate to conduct multi-drop deliveries of steel to residential construction sites across Melbourne and Country Victoria.

This is a physically demanding role involving early starts, regular driving in high volume traffic and logistically difficult delivery locations. This position is ideal for candidates looking for a challenge and who are customer focused.

On-the-job training and support are provided.

About you

• Current MR Licence
• Construction Induction (CI) Card, or willingness to obtain
• Experience completing multi drop deliveries (advantageous)
• Excellent driving history
• Good knowledge of Melbourne and surrounds
• Experience using a vehicle-mounted crane (advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently and problem solve
• A strong understanding of safety with regard to heavy vehicles, load management and unloading
• A Dogging License or willingness to undertake the required training
