Are you a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills? This newly established role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting the management team with a variety of administrative tasks. You will be the go-to person for any office and facility related matters, working closely and building relationships with all levels of internal stakeholders….your days will fly!
This is a 12 month contract role with the potential to become permanent. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to balance work and other commitments while contributing to a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Hours: Flexible part-time hours are available and can be discussed to suit your schedule, Monday to Friday on site (Mulgrave location)
Responsibilities of the role:
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments or individuals
- Manage the front desk, including handling mail
- Maintain an organised and efficient office environment
- Oversee office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and functioning
- Provide administrative support to the management team and staff
- Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence as required
- Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Assist with coordination of office events, such as team-building activities, meetings, and training sessions
- Track project progress and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders
About you
You’re a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a flair for organisation. You excel at multitasking, have exceptional communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage office operations efficiently will make you an ideal fit for our team.
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative team player.
