An exciting new position of Team Leader - Operations has become available for a motivated and organised professional.
Duties: The Team Leader’s duties include but are not limited to:
- Supervise, lead, mentor and train Service Coordinators to achieve continued professional and skill development
- Manage and execute the rostering and scheduling of staff to ensure all shifts have been allocated to the required standard
- Available to be on-call outside of normal working hours on a rotating roster to attend to emergency shift cancellations and find replacement staff as required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and promote a strong customer focused culture
- Work together with the customer, family/carers and relevant case managers to ensure the client care plan and goals are achieved
- Ensure client funding is utilised appropriately, avoiding under or over-expenditure
- Ensure staff are appropriately trained and qualified for the services they are allocated to
- Respond to client complaints and implement plan of action for continuous improvement
- Assist the Head of Services’ in delegating and assigning bookings emails
- Oversee tasks and emails of direct reports, ensuring deadlines are met
- Lead by example, ensuring customer service, phone etiquette and rostering is always maintained at a high standard
- Coach and train team on mistakes that have been made to ensure mistakes are eliminated where possible
- Monitor rostering and scheduling standards and ensure best practice is maintained
- General office administration duties
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
The successful candidate must have:
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
