Holyoake is a leading provider of counselling and support services for people impacted directly and indirectly by alcohol, other drugs, and related mental health issues. We operate through five locations in Victoria Park, Midland, Northam, Narrogin and Merredin, and employ over 100 staff.
We are inviting applications from suitably skilled Receptionist/Administration Assistants to work on a full-time basis at our Victoria Park office. Key responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for enquiries to our Victoria Park office by phone, email, and in person
- Provide a professional, and efficient welcome for consumers and visitors contacting the service
- Assist staff in scheduling appointments for group and individual counselling sessions.
- Prepare and maintain medical records for consumers of Holyoake’s counselling programs.
- Provide helpful advice of Holyoake services to enquiries from individuals outside the organisation.
- Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders within the organisation.
- Undertake data entry
- Ensure office and stationery supplies are maintained
- Other tasks associated with supporting the organisation’s services where required.
Skills required:
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work nonjudgmentally with a diverse client base
- Ability to work well and accurately within time constraints
- Ability to work within a team environment under pressure
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite
- Accurate data entry skills
- Ability to be intuitive in potentially sensitive situations
- Experience in administration within the alcohol and drug or related sector preferred.
Criteria for successful applicants:
- National Police Clearance, no more than three months old
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children’s Check
- Valid Drivers License
