About Us:

The Australian Institute of Innovation & Leadership (AIIL) is looking for an ENERGETIC, enthusiastic and qualified Trainer and Assessor who’s PASSIONATE about empowering aspiring ENTREPRENEURS. If you’re excited about teaching the skills needed not only to complete accredited training but also to launch and grow a real business, we want you on our team!

We’re committed to empowering Australians through practical, interactive and industry-relevant accredited training. We offer a range of fresh and exciting, formal accreditations and maintain strong connections with various industries to ensure the quality and relevance of our courses.

The Australian Institute of Innovation & Leadership (AIIL) is a division of The Australian School of Entrepreneurship, founded by a crew of young Aussies and supported by experienced educators, professionals and governance experts. We’re all about shaking up education, entrepreneurship and employment. With a powerful mix of fresh, lived experience and worldly wisdom, we’re tackling industry challenges head-on, armed with a deep understanding of the real issues impacting our community.

The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and genuinely engaging Trainer to join our team and deliver high-quality training and assessment for our three courses: BSB30220 Micro Business Skill Set, BSB30220 Cert III in Entrepreneurship and Small Business and BSB40320 Cert IV. We want someone who inspires others through authentic, impactful teaching.

What we’re looking for:

  • An experienced Trainer/Assessor with at least two years of experience delivering these qualifications in an RTO and holding a current TAE40122 Certificate IV in TAE.
  • You’re passionate about what you teach and your ENERGY and ENTHUSIASM are contagious.
  • You’re a self-starter, well-presented and a natural at connecting with people from all walks of life.
  • You’ve got strong presentation skills and know how to captivate and inspire any room.
  • You’re ready to dive in immediately and bring a flexible, engaging approach to delivering online courses (and forget the boring PowerPoint slides!).
  • You know how to adapt your teaching style to suit a diverse group of learners.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current Blue Card
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • High energy—no room for burnout here, we want someone who’s pumped about what they do!
  • Resilient, with the ability to connect with and inspire a diverse group of learners
  • Ability to nail all documentation while sticking to company policies
  • Killer time management and admin skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal and digital communication skills, with an eye for the little things
  • Always on top of training and development needs
  • Committed to smashing your annual professional development goals

Bonus:

You’ve run your own business, or are currently doing so, so you’ve got that real entrepreneur hustle to draw from.

Perks:

  • No nights, no weekends—our trainers work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, so you can have your evenings and weekends free!
  • Get the chance to level up through our exclusive entrepreneur workshops and seminars.
  • You’ll be working on a program featuring content delivered by Steve Baxter (AIIL's very own Advisor & Ambassador)—don’t miss the video!
  • Not into full-time work? No worries—let us know what works for you and we’ll figure something out!

Ready to hit the apply button?

Hit us up with your resume and a cover letter that’s all you. We get tons of applications, so make sure yours stands out—no cookie-cutter, ChatGPT-written stuff! Show us what makes you you. We can’t wait to hear from you!
