Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-facing Asset/Development Manager to join their team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, construction, or project management, with at least 5 years of experience in value-add and redevelopment projects. This role requires a dynamic individual who can oversee technical and project management issues while effectively communicating technical site issues to key stakeholders, senior management and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage value-add and redevelopment projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and within budget.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and opportunities.
• Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on construction and redevelopment projects.
• Communicate project progress and technical issues to key stakeholders, senior management and investors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in value-add and redevelopment projects.
• Strong understanding of industrial, commercial and/or residential real estate and development processes.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Client-facing experience with a focus on building and maintaining relationships.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
