ABOUT THE COMPANY
TwoScots are currently partnering with a large Utilities company with an office in North Sydney. They are currently seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join their friendly and supportive culture. The role will be involved in financial analysis & modelling for projects, business parenting with a variety of stakeholders as well as completing management reporting activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Business partnering with the leadership team, commercial finance team and operations
• Financial & commercial analysis / modelling for large projects
• Dealing with large sets of data & completing variance analysis
• Provide financial and commercial insights derived from both financial and non-financial data
• Monitoring project costs and revenue to ensure it is meeting business objectives
• Driving budgeting, forecasting, management reports, project accounting & cost centre reporting.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.

• Must be CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
• Must have a BA in Commerce, Accounting, Finance etc
• Must have proven ability to manage strategic finance issues within a large and complex environment
• Previous experience in the energy, utilities or construction industry would be highly regarded
• 5+ years' experience in a Senior Finance Analyst, Finance Business Partner role or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling skills are essential
• Must have experience business partnering with senior stakeholders & presenting financial analysis to them.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience using SAP & Power BI.
