About the role:

Worldwide Tank Services are seeking an experience Tank Cleaning Supervisor for an immediate start to supervise a small team working on a FIFO project in the NT and to assist in developing local opportunities throughout WA.

Experience in the supervision of flushing, cleaning, and removing products into portable containers both above and below ground is required, along with the ability to follow the relevant Work Health and Safety Acts.

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and compliant management of the company's waste disposal operations, and this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading player in the mining and resources industry.

What you will be doing:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the waste services team, including scheduling, coordinating and supervising staff
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and internal policies governing waste disposal
• Liaise with external waste contractors to optimise waste management processes
• Lead projects to enhance efficiency, safety and sustainability of waste services
• Foster a strong safety culture and champion safe work practices

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in a waste management or environmental services role
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent understanding of relevant environmental regulations and waste disposal best practices
• Hold an Australian Drivers Licence (C Class)
• Police Clearance within the last 6 months (or ability to get one)
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, engineering or a related discipline (Highly regarded but not essential)
• Australian Trade Recognised: Fitter/Boilermaker (Highly regarded but not essential)
• Australian Citizenship
• Current Statutory Supervisor Schedule 26 or working towards
