About the role and team

Reporting to the Workplace Relations Manager (Alex), you'll join a small, supportive Workplace Relations team of 2, and join our wider HR team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and agreements, and will contribute to the development and implementation of workplace relations policies and procedures. In the role you will:

• Provide support to the business on a range of workplace relations matters
• Interpret and apply relevant legislation, awards, and agreements
• Assist with the development and implementation of workplace relations policies and procedures
• Conduct workplace investigations as required
• Coordinate the certification process for G4S to gain and ensure compliance with the Fair Jobs Code and other relevant state-based compliance requirements
• Review and standardise workplace relations documentation including contracts, policies, and letters
• Maintain a document register for Workplace Relations

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resources, or a related discipline
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Sound knowledge of Australian workplace relations legislation and practices
