Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step in your career? Treehouse Queanbeyan Inc is a registered not-for-profit, community-based organisation supporting children with additional needs from infancy to the end of primary school. As a registered NDIS provider, we serve Queanbeyan, NSW, and surrounding areas, including the ACT.

We are expanding our team and looking for an enthusiastic Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist (Allied Health Professional Level 3) to lead our therapy services and mentor a dedicated team of therapists in a collaborative, flexible, and rewarding environment.

Your Role

As a Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring the therapy team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services.
• Driving innovation and change across the organisation to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
• Developing and implementing effective therapy programs for children from infancy to the end of primary school.
• Providing therapy services to improve children’s communication, motor, and functional skills.
• Working across various settings, including our centre, schools, preschools, childcare centres, and homes.
• Facilitating a range of therapeutic groups tailored to children’s developmental needs.
• Collaborating with key workers, educators, and therapists to support children and their families.

About You

You will thrive in this role if you have:

• A degree in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy and current registration with Speech Pathology Australia or AHPRA.
• Extensive experience delivering therapy services to children.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience supervising professionals and students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with children and their families.
• A basic understanding of the NDIS.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• A valid NSW Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate, and a current Australian driver's licence (or willingness to obtain them).
