MATERNITY LEAVE POSITION – ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT:

Newwave Orthodontics is looking for a Dental Assistant to start immediately. One of our fabulous staff members is going on maternity leave and we are looking for someone to cover her position. This role is until the end of 2025 with the possibility of extension. If you are having a GAP year or just want to try something new then this job is for you.

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to assist the clinic in the smooth running of our Practice. Qualification or experience in Dental Assisting is an advantage but not essential. This is a fast paced role assisting our busy Orthodontists and caring for our patients. The role offered is a full time position (9 day fortnight) until December 2025 with the possibility of further employment.

Qualifications & experience

• Experience in dental highly regarded
• Cert III/IV in Dental Assisting not essential

Tasks & responsibilities

• Clinical: surgery set up/pack down
• Chairside assisting
• Collecting records: Intraoral scanning and photos
• Looking after our patients by offering a high standard of care
• Patient instructions
• Sterilisation + infection control
