About the role

This full-time Business Development Manager role at Duncan Hill Property presents an exciting opportunity to drive new business growth for an established and respected real estate firm. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new clients and opportunities to expand the company's portfolio of property management and sales services within the local market.

Your role is to

  • Proactively prospect and build a pipeline of new business leads through networking, cold calling, and maintaining a strong referral network
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients to showcase the company's expertise and services
  • Negotiate and close new business contracts, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate closely with the property management and sales teams to provide seamless customer service and support
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's sales and marketing strategies

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record of success in new business development, preferably within the real estate industry
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
  • Familiarity with the local Kiama and South Coast property markets and an understanding of the real estate industry
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience
