We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator on a full-time based role for an opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded scrap metal company located in Pakenham.

Hourly rate, penalties apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a FUCHS Excavator
- Sorting, processing and clearing scrap metal
- Loading/Unloading materials from trucks
- Carrying out general yard duties
- Identifying and grading scrap metal

Skills/Requirements:
- Must have scrap metal product knowledge & FUCHS experience

- Full understanding of the risks associated with operating an excavator and the ability to reduce those risks
- Full time 8.30am - 4.30pm with the possibility of overtime when required
- Minimum 12 months experience operating an excavator
- Previous experience within the scrap metal industry will be highly regarded
- Safety minded at all times
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management and customers
- Positive can do attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment
