Hydrotrac Mining Services provides specialist support services to the Mining Industry with complete maintenance solutions in Perth, and isolated mine site support services. We have various positions at Tier 1 mine sites across Western Australia. You will be part of a high energy team so possession of multiple skill sets and licenses & qualifications will be highly regarded.

About The Role:

We are looking for talented Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters to join our team working on various mine sites within the Pilbara region of Western Australia on a family friendly 2/2 roster.

Reporting to the site Supervisor/Superintendent, you will perform a variety of tasks including (but not limited to):

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance, Diagnostics Fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs on Mobile Plant equipment.
• General Mobile Plant equipment servicing.
• Actively contribute to preventative maintenance campaigns.
• Comply with all business and client safety systems.
• Collaborate closely with Site Supervision to ensure a thorough understanding of Client requirements.

About You:

• Australian recognized Trade Certification in Heavy Diesel Mechanical, Mobile Plant or equivalent.
• Experience working on Cat, Liebherr, Komatsu and Hitachi Mobile Plant equipment. (CAT experience highly regarded)
• Field Service or Breakdown Experience Highly regarded
• WA Driver’s License (C Class essential, HR desirable)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in maintenance and repair of Mobile Plant Equipment.
• High Risk Work License, Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and Current Working at Heights- (will provide training and cert for the right candidate)
• Must be able to complete a full pre-employment medical, and drug & alcohol test
• Must have full Australian working rights and be located in WA
• East coast candidates encouraged to apply (flights to and from Perth at the cost of the candidate)

In addition, you will:

• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Present in a professional manner with the aim of facilitating business growth through positive Client interactions.
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills along with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong commitment to safety and workplace health and safety standards.
• Must be able to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Must be able to complete a full pre-employment medical, and drug & alcohol test
• Must have full Australian working rights and be located in WA
