The Role
The successful candidate will use their experience to analyse, design, and develop automated testing solutions across multiple clients and applications.

Responsibilities

• Use analytical skills to gain a thorough understanding of business requirements and contribute to their definition, including authoring test scenarios and user stories
• Take the lead in developing automated tests (BDD/TDD)
• Perform analysis and design of the proposed approach, identifying innovative, pragmatic, and effective alternatives
• Prepare and present work for knowledge sharing and peer review
• Work with Production Support to ensure all applications are fully supported
• Collaborate with Technical Operations to ensure seamless deployment of applications
  

Required Experience

• 3 years of test automation experience, ideally within a medium-sized financial services, SaaS, or vendor organisation
• Proficiency in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Microservices, JMeter, Postman, IBM MQ, and XML/XBRL messaging
• Experience setting up test automation frameworks using a data-driven approach rather than record/playback methods
• Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies and their testing requirements
• Cloud-based testing knowledge
