About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Projects and Contract Specialist to join our Future Networks team within Assets and Operations division for a temporary fixed term opportunity until December 2025 based anywhere within Essential Energy's operational footprint.
Reporting to the Senior Technology Project Manager, as the Projects and Contract Specialist you will be responsible for high level specialist support for the project/program delivery team and particularly the Program/Project Manager with the provision of program/project scope, schedule and financial governance, reporting, quality assurance, risk and issues management, project and contract administration.. In addition you will ensure that all parties adhere to contractual obligations and handles any issues that arise within the contract's scope.
About You
You will be a people-orientated and commercially focused professional who has a broad understanding of project management methodologies and processes. Having excellent interpersonal skills, particularly strong influencing and negotiation skills along with dispute/conflict management. You will have a collaboratively approach when dealing with stakeholders.
Skills in analysing and presenting data in a structured format is required as you will be presenting your findings to leaders within the business.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced Diploma in Project Management or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
Desirable
- Project Management certification/experience
