The primary purpose of the fixed term (until November 2025) position of the District Administration Support Officer is to provide administrative support to the District Business Manager and the District office.

About the Role
The position also assists in the coordination and administration of community events, marketing and activities and projects undertaken by the district.
What you will need to Succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Knowledge gained through secondary and vocational training.
- CERT IV Business Administration or relevant work experience.
- Competence in Microsoft Office that includes Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Sound interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members, managers and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills to obtain the cooperation of others to resolve administrative or operational issues.
- Sound numeracy and analytical skills to understand; interpret and synthesise basic data and information.
- Experience in organising work priorities to meet deadlines with a capacity to identify areas of improvement within the work area.
