Your new opportunity
Queensland Treasury have a 12-month opportunity and the a Director leading multidisciplinary teams of the GOC Performance and Governance division. In the role you will guide the implementation of financially robust public policy that services the long-term interests of Queenslanders. This role invites you to collaborate with Queensland Government agencies and Government-owned corporations, building strong relationships and facilitating the delivery of government priorities.

In this role, you will:
• Provide strategic advice, analysis, and guidance on financial and non-financial performance, governance, investment decision-making, pricing, regulation, and business development.
• Lead project teams and foster their development for the team's ongoing success.
• Align advice with commercial, policy and governance frameworks, in tune with Government priorities.
• Foster constructive relationships within Treasury and other departments.
• Coordinate input into the State Budget process, Mid-Year Review and presentations to external agencies.
• Exercise sound judgement and influence to manage client requirements and work priorities.
• Represent Treasury at meetings, committees and interdepartmental working groups.
• Prepare reports, Cabinet and Parliamentary material, submissions, briefing notes and presentations.

What experience you will bring:
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to influence the development and implementation of complex public policy and change management expertise.

Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
