Your new opportunity
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll be part of the Health and Care team, focusing primarily on Queensland Health. You'll provide expert advice on complex financial and policy issues, working in collaboration with other Treasury units, state departments, and statutory authorities. This role is an exciting opportunity to drive policy development and support the Queensland Treasury's vision of a strong economy for all Queenslanders.

In this role, you will:
• Provide strategic financial and policy advice to clients, Executive Director, and senior executives.
• Conduct and prepare financial, economic, and policy research, make recommendations.
• Advise on risk identification and financial issues.
• Coordinate budget and accounting requirements to support relevant agencies.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.

What experience you will bring:
• Monitoring, interpreting, and analysing financial information.
• Communicating technical financial concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
• High quality written and spoken communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
