About the Role – Tyre Technician
JAX Tyres & Auto Mona Vale is excited to welcome a new, experienced tyre technician to their friendly team. In this role, you will identify and rectify faults found in customer tyres such as wear and punctures through fitting, rotating, balancing and general tyre repairs.
You will be working in a well-equipped and organised workshop, closely alongside your team members to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.
Your main day-to-day tasks would include
- Repairing and maintaining customer vehicles
- Carrying out tyre repairs, tyre fitting, wheel balancing and other wheel/suspension related services
- Identifying faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear
- Fitting, rotating and servicing tyres
- Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles
- Safely operating hoists
- Conducting road tests as required
About you
- 2 years experience tyre fitting
- Available to work Saturdays
- Exhibit excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Be physically fit and able to manage daily tasks.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WHS) practices.
- Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Hold a valid Australian driver’s license (required).
