The role
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker for an immediate start to join our growing team in Loganholme, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the design, crafting, assembly, and installation of high-quality cabinetry and joinery, tailored to meet our clients' specific needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and workmanship.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: (Brian, choose 6 or 7, the most relevant)
• Craft high-end custom cabinetry with precision, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail.
• Operate CNC machines and edge banding equipment to support efficient production processes.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, laminates, and other materials to create bespoke cabinetry and joinery.
• Install custom cabinets, wardrobes, and shelving units on-site, ensuring seamless integration with existing spaces.
• Repair and refurbish existing cabinetry and furniture, restoring pieces to their original condition or enhancing functionality.
• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and hand tools in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with designers, clients, and tradespeople to ensure project specifications, quality, and aesthetic goals are met.
• Communicate project status and address challenges effectively with management and team members.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and meets the company’s high-quality standards.
• Manage time and resources efficiently to complete projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Fully qualified Cabinet Maker with relevant qualifications and a minimum of 1 year of work experience, or at least 3 years of experience in lieu of qualifications.
- Strong woodworking and joinery skills, with the ability to read technical drawings.
- knowledge and experience with CNC operations.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid manual driver's license and reliable transportation.
