We are looking for an experienced and passionate Building Designer to join our collaborative team and contribute to the success of our innovative residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design process to create innovative designs that meet client needs, site constraints, and budget requirements.

Work directly with clients to understand their vision, ensuring the design reflects their desires while providing practical and budget-conscious solutions.

Develop detailed concept sketches, floor plans, and 3D models that align with the client’s goals and are feasible for construction.

Collaborate closely with builders, contractors, and consultants throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring seamless communication and smooth project delivery.

Managing projects through multiple stages included town planning, building approval and related applications, through to completion. Ensuring designs are fully buildable and compliant with local building codes and regulations.

Provide ongoing support during construction to resolve design-related issues and maintain the integrity of the vision while keeping within budget.

Skills & Experience Required:

High Proficiency in Revit, and standard knowledge of AutoCAD required.

High Proficiency with 3D modeling and rendering tools is an advantage.

Proven experience designing custom homes, renovations and multi-residential developments, with a portfolio demonstrating successful, high-quality projects.

Strong experience working directly with builders and consultants to ensure designs are practical, feasible, and cost-effective.

Excellent communication skills are a must.

In-depth knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations, construction practices and sustainable design practices for both residential and multi-residential projects.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering designs that are both functional and cost-effective.

A collaborative approach to design, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
