The Victorian Hospitals’ Industrial Association (‘VHIA’) is an employer organisation representing the interests of its members in the Victorian public health, mental health, community health, primary health; disability and residential aged care sectors.
VHIA advises on a wide variety of matters relating to workplace and industrial relations and provides services ranging from general advice through more specialist or technical consulting as well as advocacy in tribunals and courts.

The Role:
VHIA is seeking a Workplace Relations Administrator/Advisor (Graduate) on a full-time, ongoing basis.
The role involves providing industrial relations advice in response to member enquiries through telephone, email, internet and social media and providing high level administration support to our staff and members, coordinating the administration of the enterprise bargaining process and member meetings.
VHIA currently offers a hybrid working arrangement where two days a week are in our modern offices in Footscray, with three days a week from home.
To be successful in this position, you will need to meet the following selection criteria:
You will possess a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Law, Human Resources or Business; have a maximum of one (1) years’ experience, be passionate about public and community health and dedicated to strong member service.
You must be able to demonstrate well-developed written and oral communication skills; effective problem solving and interpersonal skills; a proven ability to develop strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work in a small team and a strong aptitude in the use of the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
