About the business and the role

D & D Diesel Service Pty Ltd is a small family-owned business that wholesale and retail a range of products through phone sales, online sales, customer visits. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to fill the role of a Parts Interpreter in a full-time position.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Order parts and enter purchase orders into system.
• Create jobs in system for parts sales
• Respond to customer inquiries/requests and ensure that customer requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner.
• Answer telephone queries relating to parts orders
• Provide parts for mechanics as requested to complete jobs.
• Inventory management – including stock orders.
• Pick and pack goods for dispatch
• Receipt incoming parts orders & external suppliers
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods
• Greet customers at the counter and answer their parts queries and place orders
• Organise transport and perform parts pickups when required.
• Provide support to Service department.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

• Good administration and computer skills
• Good phone manner
• Previous experience in parts interpretation in Earthmoving industry would be preferable
• Proven ability to interpret customer orders
• Previous experience using Mechanics desk would be advantageous but not required
• Customer Service focus
• Australian motor vehicle driver’s license
• Forklift License
