Key Outcomes and Accountabilities

  1. Actively seek out, establish, manage and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders including but not limited to: Industry associations, community groups, consumers, suppliers, local and other associated government agencies, emergency services etc. Leverage off industry relationships and advocate the QBCC along with its range products and services, and how these will best serve its customers.
  2. In partnership with the appropriate internal education and engagement stakeholders, assist in the development, implementation and ongoing support of an annual events strategy that will not only deliver a heightened awareness of the QBCC and its services; but also maintain valuable external relationships through industry change education and professional development programs across the State.

By doing this we promote confidence in the building and construction industry. Led by the Commissioner and governed by a board, the QBCC consists of a skilled and expert team of staff that work hard to meet the needs of industry participants and the community.
