The Role:
We are seeking applications from experienced mammographers who can demonstrate competence in performing screening mammography, and diagnostic assessment imaging of screen detected abnormalities as required at BreastScreen Tasmania’s statewide locations.
As a Senior Radiographer, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centred and trauma-informed care. You will perform screening mammography and diagnostic imaging, ensuring the highest standards of practice. Working collaboratively with other health services, you will contribute to improved outcomes for our clients, while also engaging in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Details of appointment:
Multiple Permanent, full time and part time, day worker position working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Multiple Fixed term, full time and part time, day worker position working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 31 December 2025
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $110,425 - $121,907 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Allowances:
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point are available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
- A market allowance of $10,000 per annum pro rata is applicable to this role.

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
- Registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
- Licensed to practice under Tasmanian Radiation Protection Act 2005 and the Radiation Protection Regulations 2016
*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
