The role
We're seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to lead the end-to-end delivery of key Learning & Development projects that support CBCity's People Strategy.
This role plays a vital part in shaping workforce capability by working closely with stakeholders to design, manage, and implement strategic Learning & Development initiatives that drive organisational goals.
This role is being offered as a temporary full-time opportunity for a 12-month period.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Lead end-to-end L&D projects aligned with strategic goals.
- Manage project timelines, delivery, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to design and deliver effective learning initiatives.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships for smooth project execution.
- Ensure alignment with project objectives across People & Performance.
- Evaluate learning solutions for compliance and best practice.
- Conduct learning needs assessments and tailor content using data insights.
- Support organisation-wide L&D and capability development initiatives.

You will have
- Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Human Resources, or Project Management.
- A current C Class Driver's Licence.
- Extensive Learning & Development/Organisational Development experience within multi-disciplinary organisations.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering organisation-wide projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and influencing skills.
- Proficient with LMS, eLearning platforms, and related technologies.
- Skilled in adult learning facilitation across diverse environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced settings.
Experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors, Learning Management System administration, and working in the public sector or large corporate environments is not essential but will be highly regarded.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $101,423 (Grade H, Step 1) + 11.5% super. Salary is negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
