About the role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team at Chapter 1 Early Learning in Miranda, NSW. As an ECT, you will be responsible for creating a warm, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for our young students. What you'll be doing

Planning and delivering high-quality educational programs that cater to the individual needs and interests of children aged 0-5 years

Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) to ensure exceptional learning outcomes

Fostering positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community

Observing and assessing children's development, and using this information to inform curriculum planning

Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by regulatory authorities

Collaborating with the educational team to share best practices and continuously improve our programs

Ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organised learning environment

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Registered teacher with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher

Excellent knowledge of child development and early learning pedagogies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Current First Aid and CPR certificates

Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young children
