About the role

BML Ventures is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dump Truck Operator to join our dynamic team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. As a Dump Truck Operator, you will play a vital role in the mining operations, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of mined materials. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our mining operations.

What you'll be doing

Operate heavy-duty dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport mined materials from the pit to the processing plant or waste stockpiles

Perform pre-start checks and daily maintenance on assigned vehicles to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards

Communicate effectively with the site supervisor, equipment operators and other team members to coordinate activities and address any issues that may arise

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment

Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy-duty dump trucks in a mining or construction environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Willingness to work in a shift-based roster, including weekends and public holidays
