Senior Generation Technician
Joining our team means you'll be part of something that really matters. As our Senior Generation Technician, you will be based in Broome, and responsible providing hands on leadership to power generation maintenance, operational and project activities throughout the Western Australian region towns and communities.
This is a permanent full-time position. Our ideal candidate is someone who has clear communication, able to manage stakeholders, have a proactive approach and be solution orientated.
Your role will include:
- Operation and monitoring of generation assets and related equipment both individually and as a
complete system as required - Carrying out hands on maintenance, repair and replacement of generation assets, components, and related equipment
- Monitoring contractor performance that is aligned with divisional and corporate performance
objectives - Preparing, scheduling, executing and monitoring work package delivery in accordance with agreed plans
You will have:
- A relevant Australian Trade Qualification
- Significant hands-on experience in the maintenance and operation of reciprocating diesel
power stations or similar role in heavy industry - Significant experience Generation/ Power Station Operation and Maintenance Experience
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and work order job flow in a Utility/ Generation environment
- Sound Knowledge of diesel Generation Assets and Systems
- Sound knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
