💼 About the Role

Step into a meaningful role where you'll deliver engaging, accessible, and culturally competent legal education to Aboriginal communities across Central Australia. As part of our dynamic Community Legal Education (CLE) program, you’ll empower Aboriginal Territorians to navigate and influence the legal system through workshops, outreach, and creative content development.

This position offers flexibility (part-time negotiable), opportunities for travel to remote communities, and the chance to work within a team deeply committed to justice, reform, and education.

What You’ll Do

💡Deliver tailored legal education workshops across urban and remote areas

💡Co-design legal education priorities with communities

💡Collaborate with stakeholders on innovative CLE projects

💡Develop publications, training materials, and multimedia resources

💡Champion cultural competency initiatives

💡Travel to Central Australian communities as part of pre-approved schedules

What You’ll Need

✅Experience communicating cross-culturally with Aboriginal people

✅Strong understanding of the NT civil and criminal legal systems

✅Familiarity with adult learning techniques

✅Excellent written and computer skills

✅Ability to work independently and in a diverse team

✅NT Driver’s Licence (or equivalent) and ability to travel

✅Ability to obtain an Ochre Card and pass criminal history checks
