The Role
We're looking for a Senior Project Engineer with a strong track record of delivering commercial projects from site establishment through to internal finishes. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys being across all phases of the build and has the technical capability to lead key engineering functions across a project's lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering functions across the full project scope - from early works to handover
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to meet program objectives
• Manage RFIs, ITPs, and project documentation
• Drive site readiness and oversee early works activities including:
• Site establishment
• Bulk and detailed excavation
• Retention systems and in-ground services
• Temporary works coordination and compliance
• Utility authority engagement and service connections
• Work closely with the Site and Project Manager to ensure seamless project delivery
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Mentor junior engineers and support broader project team initiatives

About You

• Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 5-8+ years' experience with a commercial builder, ideally in the mid-tier or tier 1 space
• Solid experience across early works and complex structural packages
• Strong understanding of commercial project life cycles and construction sequencing
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to high-quality outcomes
