Due to on-going growth in the residential building sector, we are recruiting for an additional full-time carpenter to join our team of carpenters and apprentices. We are a locally owned business, working on project homes and custom built new homes, townhouses and unit complexes. Majority of our work is within the Cairns Suburbs.

About the role:

Reporting to the Leading Hand and Construction Manager, you will assist with the construction and installation of residential building projects in accordance with building plans and industry standards.

This is a full-time salaried position, working Monday to Friday.

Requirements for the role:

Licensed Carpenter with at least 2 years experience (post apprenticeship)

Current drivers licence

Ability to work unsupervised and work well within a team, experience to take on a lead role on projects would be highly regarded

Willing to mentor less experienced carpenters and apprentices

Reliable and punctual

Good communication skills
